Radiation With View Factors in OPENFOAM

I am trying to model the view factor generation in openfoam. I am currently working on understanding the multiregionradiationfoam tutorial. One simple question, May I know upon which surfaces the view factors are being calculated?, which are the surfaces emitting the radiation?

Is there a way to control the surfaces(patches or faces) involved in the viewfactor computation in the multiregionradiationfoam tutorial?
