Reverse Osmosis simulation with openFOAM

I want to simulate an RO desalination process with openFOAM. does anybody have experience in this issue? Does openFOAM appropriate for it? can openFOAM solve concentration equations in porous media?

good question is a part of answer  you mentioned a phenomena, but it is better you post here what are you going to simulate One phase- Two phase? Incompressible - Compressible? Navier - Stokes or Euler? Laminar - Turbulent? ....... |
