Dear Foamers,
I am modeling the flow (wind) around a rectangle with aspect ratio 1:5 (Re=10E+4 based on "B", the rectangle edge along wind direction). I have performed 3-D LES Simulation ( 2 Millions of cells, Smagorinsky Model, not Dynamic) with OpenFOAM and I have compared results in terms of Cp average along the edge (in the flow direction) with both experimental and Fluent data. Fluent and OpenFoam use the same mesh, model and Reynolds. I am not able to correctly reproduce the Cp (average) with OpenFoam. The image attached shows results obtained. I have also performed a RANS simulations (k-omega model) and, again, i have obtained a Cp difference between OpenFoam and Fluent very similar to which showed in the .png attached. I have also attached system and 0 folder. Can someone help me please?? Thank you in advance. |
