Hi!
I am attempting to solve the flow around a solid body which moves by the relation v(x,t)=f(x)*f(t). My question is: Using pimpleDyMFoam with the dynamicMotionSolver in the pointMotionUx file is it possible to use a timeVaryingMappedFixedValue BC (I'm assuming this is an unsteady non-uniform BC)? Is there a simpler way? All the tutorials seem to have motion that is uniform... I'm not afraid of hard coding something in but i'm a converting fortran programmer so please be kind |

I think you can use TimeVaryingUniformFixedValue BC.

Hello foamers,
can every one tell me exactly what is pointMotionUx and cellMotionUx files in the moving cone? I am trying to solve the flow around a solid body which moves by the function dependent temporal and spatial variables, how can define a function to move the solid body? any suggestion... Thanks ----------- Rasoul |
