Hi Everyone,
I was wondering if anyone knew how the new MRFSimpleFoam tutorial mixerVessel2D is set up in OpenFOAM 2.0.0. I opened the directory and don't see the old cellSetDict and faceSetDict files which specified the creation of the rotating zone. When I ran the case, I noticed that in the log.blockMesh file, the zones were created almost automatically. Does this mean that blockMesh now creates the zellZones files? If so, then how would I use my own mesh with MRFSimpleFoam? It's not a GAMBIT mesh so following the tutorial in the wiki doesn't help. cellSet isn't recognized as a command anymore. Thanks to all for reading. I apologize if this is a stupid question. I might be missing something that's really simple. --Nick |

Dear Nick,
I am in trouble, too, and afraid that the cellSet utility isn't a part of the mesh manipulation tools anymore. Do you have news about that? Stupidly, i am using cellSet with 1.7.x to set my cellZones. I have nothing found out about setting cellZones automatically with blockMesh in 2.0.x. Regards, Stefan BTW: I am using Build: 2.0.x-d52e794f2160 |
