Hii,
I am running the circular cylinder case for Re=3900 using various LES models (oneeqeddy, locDynOneeqeddy etc), but getting very small recirculation length. I am taking a time step of 1e-4 and running till time=2 s. can someone please let me know if he/she has got correct results for a similar case? Thanks, Tarak |

Hi Tarak,
I have seen your two posts on the simulation of flow around a circular cylinder with LES models and currently am doing exactly the same case. My first thought on your result is that the running time is too short and 15 s should be good. Are you doing this case in 2D or 3D? Can you give more information about the simulation? Regards, Albert |

Hii,
Did you have any luck with this case? Were you able to get a good recirculation length? I am still not being able to get good results. Thanks |
