Dear Foamers,
I am trying to simulate an steady, incompressible axis symmetric flow using simpleFoam (its flow in a ring pipe). The complication starts if i try to introduce swirl at the inlet. The swirl component of the flow is correct on the inlet but it doesn't get introduced into the flow. To verify my testcase as much as possible, i tried the full 3D geometry and it works. Can anyone help me out what can i possibly do wrong? (Does wedge support swirl?) Last edited by bthomas; April 12, 2011 at 19:49. Reason: oops, a typo unsteady -> steady |
