@santiagomarquezd - yea sure, of course I do attatch an "outlet box", in order to get a physically realisic profile instead of an artificial one caused by my bc.
@alberto - so as I understand you; the p_rgh is always uniform, but the value must not be 0. It's only 0 if the "sea level" outside my domain is at z=0, because the codes refenence is at z=0. In case "sea level" should NOT be at z=0, p_rgh varies. Is the sea level at z > 0, p_rgh is > 0 as well, is the sea level at z < 0, p_rgh is < 0. Is this the way how hydrostatic pressure is taken into account? |

Take a look at how rho*g*h is defined in the code (createFields.H, line 109).

I have a question. Domain (mesh) which you are using is new in this solver or repaired of old domain. You can tell me how to creat new application (mesh) , it must to match with attributed in 0 directory.....? and did you choose a mesh of solver ?? I repaired the file blockMeshDict of backward facing (scalarTransportFoam) to have the new mesh. however, it rdidn't run similarly with solution your. they attached the following image in the link: http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/ope...tml#post323465 thanks ! cheers Phuc |
