Hello all,
I am running a personal solver that is built off of icoFoam for a simple channel problem with a scalar field. My issue is that, even though it runs fine, the output files are not in a standard coding and is unreadable. It isn't really an issue because all the important field (like BCs for example) are still in normal coding it's just sort of frustrating. My simulation runs perfectly fine. Here below is a sample of what I mean, this would t/p file, where t is some time. FoamFile { version 2.0; format binary; class volScalarField; location "80"; object p; } // * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * // dimensions [0 2 -2 0 0 0 0]; internalField nonuniform List<scalar> 400 (Ic^éôô¼±q´úò>Û<Ëvú¾¡õ<ipeîg\ü<<`P n( ....... The entire file is like the last two lines except for the BCs. Anyone have any thoughts with this? J |

Try ascii format instead of binary.
