Hello community,
We try to map CFD results (pressure) from the CFD grid to a structural grid of different resolution by using mapfields. What we get are values on only some faces of the structural grid so the mapping works partly. It doesen´t work where the structural grid is "outside" of the CFD grid. So we have pressure values with a lot of "holes". Of course both grids base on the same geometry that is coincident but differ in resoultion. Is there something we should consider using mapfields in this case? The tutorials deal with simple geometry but we have a free-form surface here so a different resolution of the grid leads to small devaitions of the discretized surface. Which strategy is more appropriate if there is one? thanks for advice! Martin |

Dear Martin,
I have the same problem that you, I try to tranfer CFD pressure to FE meshing with ParaView but I don't find the "good" command!! Do you solve your problem and can you help me? BR |
