Hi,
I am using the SpalartAllmaras model. I have run a case with different settings for nut. The first one for all walls : type fixedValue; value uniform 0; And the second one : type nutSpalartAllmarasWallFunction; value uniform 0; Are both settings right ? What are the differences ? What y+ need both formulations ? Thanks for explanations and comments ! Regards, Stephane. |

No, the second one ist the wall function intended to be used with the spalart-allmaras model. So the first one is wrong.
This is a blended model so it works for the wholre range of y+ values. Regards Bastian |
