Hi everyone,
can someone (maybe from the HPC SiG) recommend a proven (kind of) linearly scalable simple benchmark cases done in OpenFOAM to test the architecture for a HPC cluster (real COTS, not Xeon/Opteron COTS nodes)? Has anyone tried to validate the architecture parameters using microbenchmarking approach by timing the execution time of the solver parts and recording the response of the system? Any advice would be great... I have seen the pyFoam benchmarking suite, but the architectures listed on the wiki are quite old, does anyone have any data for newer COTS machines? |
