Hi,

Now,I calculate 3D-hopeless diamond using rhoCentralFoam.

Actually, my computer's calculated speed is very low. Because I use personal computer. So I want to calculate on narrow domain of calculation. Now, calculated domain (front, both-side, back, upper and lower) is 1-chord from a model. Mach number is 0.8.
First, I try to calculate on 2D-domain to decide 3D-domain. I think that if no problem on 2D-calculation, I apply to 3D-calculation. But My result of calculation occures trouble. It becomes high pressure on inlet. And velocity around a model hardly drop out. Maybe,I think it is occured due to be narrow domain of caluculation. And this phenomenon is interfering between disturbance from a model and inlet. So, I keep to Mesh number that is keep its domain and I want to do 3D-calculation. So could you tell me the way somehing to do? For example, I think that One of the way makes boundary between inlet and a model. Disturbances from a model are assimilated on boundary. And it keep fixed value form inlet like a magic mirror. Can I make boundary condition at the OpenFOAM?

P.S Boundary condition
2D
inlet fixed value
outlet zerogradient
upper and lower walls zerogradient
frontandback empty
model slip

3D
inlet fixed value
outlet zerogradient
upper and lower walls zerogradient
frontandback zerogradient
model slip

Regerds!!

Hi SARU
You can make a new boundary condition. Just copy a boundary condition similar to yours and change it and compile it.
All the best
