Hi all,
I have a running OF 1.6.x installation on an openSUSE 11.2 OS. (used the Instructions from http://albertopassalacqua.com/?p=532) However, the chtMultiRegionFoam tutorial case will not run straight from the Allrun file most likely due to the parallel processing (I am running an core i5). When I execute the command ./Allrun everything is executed fine until the solver starts its work. The only timestep directory created is for 0.001s. I assume that parallel processing is the problem because the case runs fine if I input all commands from Allrun up to the parallel part and then just run it on one core. Any ideas what I am doing wrong? My only idea would be that the critical error I am getting with foamInstallationTest is the problem: gcc 4.4.1 WARNING: Conflicting installations: OpenFOAM settings : /bin/gcc current path : /usr/bin/gcc CRITICAL ERROR On the other hand I don't see why it runs on one core. Cheers and regards, Chris |
