I've modeled a helicopter rotor with MRFSimpleFoam(OpenFOAM-1.6), and I wanted the mesh to rotate as I viewed it with ParaView. I've created a mesh to represent the atmosphere in the same BlockMeshDict file. The rotor patch is movingWalls while the atmosphere patch is fixedWalls. I want to see the airflow induced by the rotor. I've changed as little as possible in the MRFSimpleFoam case. The case runs, but still doesn't show and rotation of the rotor, or airflow. I wanted to know if I were on the right path, and any help would be greatly appreciated. By the way its my first post and first case.
