calculating parallel on two machines

Hi there,
maybe becaus of i am very new at open Foam i got a big problem. i try to calculate on two different machines and i dont know how to synchronizes my 8 cores. i think at this moment i am on the wrong way and i hope that someone could give me an interresting impulse |

have you added the -parallel argument to the execution command?
For example a very simple execution command on 2 processors with pisoFoam looks like this: mpirun -n 2 pisoFoam -parallel For 2 different machines you should add a machine file as described in the user guide. |

yep i startet a process succesfull with 4 cores on one machine... i think there can only be a very little aspect i have overlooked ....
Maybe in my decomposepardic file.... |
