hi, dear foamers
I have read an article published in Feb 2009, it saids "OF uses logarithmic wall functions always". And I noticed that there are some improvements for the wall treatment in 1.6, but I didn't read the coding carefully. So can you tell me, is this sentense "OF uses logarithmic wall functions always" still valid now? If no, how is it changed? Thanks in advance. Hai |

Which paper? Can you give a link?
"OF uses logarithmic wall functions always". No, I don't think so, wall function is just a choice. And the choices we have now are just a few. Many of my simulations do not use it.
