Hi,
I'm using dieselEngineFoam. I've seen by googling on this topic that some have implemented the layer addition and removal for this kind of simulation. I don't think it is boxed with dieselEngineFoam since it use a engineMesh and not a dynamicMesh. I would really appreciate if anybody could explain me how to modify dieselEngineFoam to run it with layer addition and removal. Thank you. Francesco. |

So far, I looked at the simpleEngine example available for the 1.4.1-dev version. It uses some classes unavailable in the 1.5 version.
My first guess is that I need to use dynamicFvMesh with topoChanger and link its implementation with the engine motion of the fvMotionSolverEngineMesh. Any other ideas? |
