Is there a switch or something like that we can use to stop the computation when it blows up (i.e. nan is found in the result)?
OpenFOAM is so 'robust' that it even works so hard on these 'nan' numbers.

Do:
setenv FOAM_SIGFPE 1 and it will fail on the first nan. You can put it into your .cshrc (or do the equivalent thing in the .bashrc if you're running bash). Hrv
