Hello,
I would like to implement a non-uniform gradient boundary condition for a passive scalar. Any ideas om how can I specify varying flux on a boundary ?? I looked at the documentation but didn't find any standard boundary condition that can be used to specify varying fluxes. Thanks, Ankur |

Any of the standard boundary conditions can be used to specify varying values as well as uniform ones -- the process for doing that is that you specify a boundary field instead of a single number for the relevant boundary value.
(For an idea of what a boundary field looks like in a file, have a look at something like the U values at an outflow boundary condition for something other than the initial timestep.) I don't know what the best way to set up such a field for a specific profile is, though. |
