Hello all,
First of all thank you very much for this great software! Does someone know if there is a k-omega-model available in OpenFoam? I need this model to simulate a hard wall as a turbulent viscosity model. Any help is appreciated. Daniel |

Hello Kumar,
thank you for the quick reply. Yes I had a look in this file before posting this thread. The problem is, there is only a simple k-Epsilon model available, but I need the k-omega model instead because it`s better when simulating a hard wall turbulence situation. But I also tried to use the LaunderGibsonRSTM but I have to figure out first which config files (k,epsilon, R) are exactly neccessary when using LaunderGibsonRSTM. Daniel Could someone give me hint? |

Hi Daniel
Please look in /OpenFOAM-1.2/src/turbulenceModels/incompressible/LaunderGibsonRSTM ( or have you already done this ?? ). looks like the model needs all the 3! kumar |
