Hi everybody,
I have a piece of question. I have seen in OpenCFD website that rhoSonic is a density-based compressible solver. I have been surprised as, few months ago, there has been a discussion on this topic on CFD-online and Dr Jasak wrote that all the solvers are pressure-based (I guess segregated) and that no density-based (I guess coupled) compressible solver is available. Dr Jasak also said that introducing this feature may take one year (that was for a Ph.-D. student) as this is `a big hole' in OpenFOAM. Does anybody know what rhoSonic does? Can OpenFOAM handle density-based coupled compressible solvers? Thanks a lot in advance, jojo |
