Hi. I want to run a 3D case where a wheel is rotating in a cylinder with the symmetrie-axis of the cylinder. the cylinder is for about 20 percent filled with a liquid. in the wheel are some wholes, so that the rotating wheel schould lift up some parts of the liquid. I thought of taking the interFoam-case for the model and filling the cylinder with the setFields-command with the liquid (just like the damBreak). for the rotation I thought of using the staticFvMesh, because only the wheel is rotating. is this correct, or should I use the mixer for this problem? and how should I proceed further? I dont have much experience with all this stuff, so it would be nice if you could tell me what I am doing wrong or what I have to consider.
greetings, Pascal |
