Hi,
The waveTransmissive boundary condition has a special check to see if the value of fieldInf = -1. I've been looking at the code in waveTransmissiveFvPatchField.C and it looks like the code just let's the value of fieldInf be equal to the value at the previous time step. Is the idea to have a non-reflective BC without a stipulated far-field value? I would appreciate it if an interested party could confirm this. Thanks, DPS |

Hello,
I know it has been years since this post was on, but I just found it and I happen to be interested in getting a non-reflective Boundary Condition. Did you find any further tracks? Regards, Bertrand |
