If I connect to a cluster to use Openfoam, can I use FoamX and ParaFoam? when I run the command 'runFoamXHB', the system showed the following information and then stop running. Could you give me a answer? Thanks.
Kang [volk@waimea volk]$ runFoamXHB Starting NameServer with inet:waimea.ore.hawaii.edu:1234 ... /home/volk/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-1.2/bin/runFoamXHB: line 122: nsd: command not found |

Normally you could forward X from the remote host to the local host through a ssh connection with:
ssh user@remotehost -X However, I guess that the error you presented is related to something else, probably a missing library. Search this forum for similar problems. Regards, José Santos |
