How can I construct a vector of arbitrary length? Will it have all the available options like ordinary field<type>, fvMatrix, etc..??

Your question sounds like you expect single vector to be a field!

Hi,

if the array is not too big, you can follow these hints: http://www.cfd-online.com/OpenFOAM_D...tml?1202063931

If you want to store a bigger, or arbitrary (unknown a priori) sized arrays, you need to think to something smarter :-)

Regards,
Alberto
