Hello world

Surely I will look like a total ignorant here I am well lost.

I am, not sure where to start, i.e. which solver to pick, how to put things together. I have read most of both the user's guide and the programmer's guide. I got a good C++ background and I am a linux newbie.

If I was to solve the equations modelled as in http://ajpheart.physiology.org/cgi/c...ull/275/1/H301

where the domain is only one cell

I know the model is only ODE, but once I get that part sorted in OpenFOAM I hope I will understand enough OpenFOAM for my particular problem and be able of expanding the domain to a 3D multicellular structure, where PDEs and FVM are used

Thanks in advance for any help provided
