Hi
Does not anyone know if in OpenFoam it is possible to define a particular mesh cell to control de convergence of the iterative solver, especially for IcoFoam and simpleFoam. I know that according to the manual, in icoFoam a reduction in the number of iterations means convergence to the steady state field, but, using a reference cell in the mesh is better. Can anyoone help me how to define this option in icoFoam and simpleFoam. |

The 'probes' function object (e.g. oodles/pitzDaily tutorial) will probe a cell and write to file. You could write your own version which writes (difference to previous iteration) to screen.
