Hi! I am trying to run OpenFOAM-1.2 in parallel using MPI (not LAM). I get the error message below:

--> FOAM FATAL ERROR : Trying to use the dummy Pstream library.
This dummy library cannot be used in parallel mode

From function Pstream::init(int& argc, char**& argv)
in file Pstream.C at line 48.

FOAM exiting

Would anyone please tell me how to fix this problem? Many thanks in advance!

My suggestion is that you could try to comment out the bool Pstream::init(int& argc, char**& argv) in src/Pstream/dummy/Pstream.C, and then mpirun your program and see what happened!
