Hi All:
I am running a multiple-outlet flow under pulsatile flow conditions. I applied a resistance bc for pressure at each outlet (p=QR) and inletoutlet bc for velocity at each outlet. At inlet, I applied a timeVaryingUniformFixedValue bc for U and outletinlet bc for p. To monitor the p value at each outlet along time, I used a probe function in system/controlDict file. The problem I am having right now is that the pressure values I probed at each step are different from the pressure values saved in the result folders at the same time step and locations. Does anybody here have similar problem? Thank you for your help. |

Hi People:
I did a further probe test on a simple straight pipe flow using icoFoam. A pulsatile flow condition was applied at inlet and a zero pressure was applied at outlet. I put several probe locations at outlet. The acquired probe data were quite different from zero. I am pretty sure that the probe locations are on the outlet. Anybody here have ever had similar problems? Thank you for help. Ning |
