Hello,
I am interested in making kEpsilon with Launder-Kato modification or MMK. Or, K-epsilon-phi model. How can I create my own RASModel? Or, is any of these models above available? I have already copied kEpsilon folder and made changes insides 'src' folder for LK and MMK. But, i am not sure what to do next? I changed turbFoam before. But, changing RASModel is not as straightforward. Please kindly advise. Thanks in advance, Ivan |

Hi Ivan,
If you made changes under OpenFOAM-1.5/src/turbulenceModels/RAS/incompressible, you usually can add your .C file to Make/files and run wmake libso under the directory. By the way is there any chance that we can share your code? Takuya |

Hi, Takuya,
Thanks for your advice. The code are complied and "working" now, but I am not sure if the result is correct at this moment. In term of sharing, the works are the properties of university. Therefore, I can't post it here. However, do you have those research papers? (Let me if you don't) It is actually quite easy to modify, and it should not take too long. I am more than happy to assist you in regards to this modification. Regards, iL |

Hi Ivan,
Thanks for your kind offer. That's no problem, I have some literature about them and believe their implementations will not be so difficult. Just I was too lazy to code and validate them by myself Takuya |
