I am buying a new workstation pretty much for OpenFOAM. It will be commodity hardware. What might experienced users suggest for optimal operating system (OpenSUSE?) and configuration for ease of compilation? It will be for a single user. (Apologize in advance if this repeats a thread- when I use the search function I get so many hits that I can't wade through them all.)
