Hi,
I've been trying to adapt rasInterFoam into a steady solver, using relaxation factors, and calling U.relax(), pd,relax(), etc. I've noticed that even in damBreak, if I set the relaxation factors to any value other than 1, for a given CFL, the time step size observed decreases by orders of magnitude. Is there something within the code (perhaps within runTime or another global-type variable) that scales the time step when relaxation is detected? Thanks, Sean |
