Hi

I am trying to simulate free fall object(example airfoil). As airfoil falls, it will deform in its shape. I have seen the tutorial of icoFsiFoam and icoDyMFoam. icoFsiFoam solves both fluid and solid but not movingmesh (have doubt)like icoDyMFoam. Which openFoam solver will handle to solve fluid, solid flows and also movingmesh ?

Thanks

Hi

Hey 50% got hope for my problem .
I have seen the body deformation and dynamicmesh using icoFsiFoam. But object is not falling down. For example i dont know how to apply gravity using icoFsiFoam. Will icoFsiFoam solve this problem ?

Thanks

Hi all

I solved the simulation using icoFsiFoam without body falling. When i tried to apply dynamic/moving (for falling object)mesh property, i got the following error.

mu = 769.231 Pa
lambda = 659.341 Pa

I have attached my case directory. i tried to solve it but i dont know where i am doing wrong. Can someone find me the bug on it

Hi, Sorry for the bothering,

But do you know how one can solve for a rigid sphere in a body of water?

Yours sincerely,
