Hi, I'm using rhoTurbFoam to solve for supersonic flow. The solver works fine for mach number 1.0, but i get the error message that the max number of iterations is reached verytime i do something more than mach 1.0. I've attached the error message below.

Hia Jia,
do you found the trick? I faced this error in dieselFoam, regards, Hamed |

Hi,
I am also getting this message when running rhoCentralFoam. My case has both subsonic and supersonic flow and seems to work fine but then always crashes with this error after a while. Does any one know what it means? Thanks Kieran |

Hi..friends.
I am solving one case using rhoTurbFoam but after few iteration it stops with the same error report as mentioned above. I am not getting why this Err means. What I understood is there may be sudden Temp raise found this is causing Err. I am not sure. I tried to verify BCs and discretization schemes also but got no idea about Err cause. Pls..come forward and help to understand it. Thanks Mehulkumar |

MOst probably your BC are wrong.
Look at rho ! Its too high ! That is leading to problem with time step continuity... recheck your BC and how do you initialize your domain? |
