Hi,

mhdFoam works well "only" for tutorial case, is this the situation with you as well? In this tutorial setup, all transport properties are equal to 1.0, that is, all of them.

I'm using OF12 and any change in transport properties, solver iterates for long time and finally shows "imposed inlet velocity" values across the entire domain. Please see images of U and p-fields after 10 secs with inlet velocity set at fixedValue 0.00005 m/s.

This behavior is not effected by mesh, time-step refinements, reducing solver tolerances.

Solver fails to capture fully-developed-parabolic-profile even for small inlet velocities and very very weak, almost zero magnetic field.

Can someone suggest what could be issue?

Best,
