Hi

I am trying to simulate air-water flow in a rect pipe using periodic BC at inlet and outlet. After giving a force in fvOptions to keep the water running i am running interFoam, but after the run I cannot see water coming in from the inlet surface, although the vel, p fields are changing with time. But it runs successfully when i use a fixed value instead of periodic BC.

I have assigned cyclic in 0 folder and boundary files. ANy help is appreciated! thanks

Am I doing any wrong in setting up the fvOptions force field? I use the following code for the force field

momentumSource

{ type meanVelocityForce
selectionMode all;
fields (U);
Ubar (1 0 0);
}

Thanks if someone can provide any assistance!!
