Hi Foamers,
I am experiencing bit of a strange occurrence of PHP Code:
I am running a CHT case on OpenFOAM version 12. The domain is a 22.5 deg of wedge section and BCs with symmetry conditions. The mesh is generated on Ansys and converted to foam mesh via fluentMeshToFoam or fluent3DMeshToFoam. ( The error is common to both mesh conversions). My mesh is also relatively good. PHP Code:
HTML Code:
https://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/openfoam-bugs/74441-directmappedpatch-badly-formed-bounding-box.html NOW THE STRANGE PART, 1. The error goes away if I add inflation layers. 2.The error is back if I remove the inflation layers. 3.The error is repeatable with varied size of the elements in the mesh. Your suggestions to resolve the issue is highly appreciated, let me know if you need more information on this. Thank you Dasith |
