Hello FOAMers,
I’m currently running a CFD simulation of a wind turbine using the k-omega SST turbulence model. I’d like to switch to the k-epsilon and Spalart–Allmaras turbulence models, but I’m unsure about the necessary modifications to the "0", fvSchemes, and fvSolution files. I’ve attached the case directory for reference. Thank you in advance for your assistance ! Best regards, Ilyes |

Hello FOAMers,
I've successfully run a case using the Spalart-Allmaras turbulence model, thanks to Gabriel Felix's tutorial—much appreciated. However, I'm encountering an issue when switching to the k-epsilon model. When I run the simulation with pimpleFoam, it crashes right at the beginning due to a floating-point exception. The log file indicates that "bounding k" has reached an extremly high value of x*10^122. I’m not sure how to address this problem, so any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I’ve attached the case and log files for reference. Best regards, Ilyes |
