Hell everyone,
I am running an LES simulation for an open channel flow. I run a precursor simulation for confluence inlets and then use the precursor data to run the main confluence model. I am trying to do calibration with experimental data. The problem is that I always have underestimated TKE values at the confluence model. I use LES simulation with smagronisky subgrid model. I added perturbation with percentage around 13.35% for 1 second at the precursor simulations. My trials: *I tried to manipulate the Smagronisky constants but it did not affect anything. *I tried different subgrid models like WALE but still the same problem. *I tried to increase the magnitude and time of perturbation using the randomize function but it did not affect it. Any idea how to solve this? |
