Hello,
I知 running a shockwave based test in rhoCentralFoam where I知 experiencing pressure results that are higher than the total pressure calculated when using use tropic relations from the freestream Mach number. Starting at 32000 Pa at M=2.2, gives a total pressure of about 340kPa, but right after the first obstacle, the pressure rises to over 600 kPa. The inlet velocity is 580 m/s and the initial Temp is 152K. I知 using the freestream BCs along the inlet and zeroGradient for the outlets aside from the walls. I encounter similar results for more refined grids. These results are steady state within my simulation. Is there a known reason why this may be the case? Or could I be implementing my BCs wrong? Thank you. |
