Hello everyone,

I am currently a Fluent user considering switching to OpenFOAM for CFD. One concern I have is about the compatibility of different sub-models and/or solvers within OpenFOAM.

In Fluent, there are checks and error messages to ensure sub-models and solvers are compatible. However, I am worried that in OpenFOAM, I might end up combining models that shouldn’t be used together without receiving any warning messages.

Is it possible in OpenFOAM to use sub-models that are incompatible without getting explicit warnings or error messages?

Any insights or advice from experienced OpenFOAM users would be greatly appreciated!
