kompe is on a distinguished road
Good day.
I'm now running a 2D case of a two bladed vertical axis wind turbine with overset meshes in OpenFOAM v2312. I have some trouble with the overset interpolation of nut. It doesn't look all that good. I use k-omega SST as the turbulence model.

I use these overset schemes:
Code:
oversetInterpolation
{
    method                cellVolumeWeight;
    nPushFront            24;
    layerRelax            0.25;
}

oversetInterpolationRequired
{
    k;
    omega;
    U;
    p;
    nut;
  }
Attached is a picture of the nut field. Do you know if there is anything to do with this? Can I just neglect this? All other fields look fine.

Thanks!
