Hello all,
GoodDay! I am trying to simulate an extreme wave scenario with a high steepness of 0.1. Although there are wiggles and I have searched this topic thoroughly and found a decent combination of numerical schemes, which gives correct, atleast the values of elevation and kinematics are in excellent agreement with wave theory. I am concerned about what is happening at the inlet as you can see some distortions. Is it mainly because the wave is too steep ? As, the maxCo is set to 0.5 it takes lets say around 5-6 hours just for 2D case to simulate. Looking forward to hear from people who have experienced it. Much thanks : ) PFA https://1drv.ms/f/c/7a25db7f1f1f7a5d...QfDJQ?e=pZdKnS |
