Hello everyone, i am fairly new to Openfoam.I tried running the tutorial recently for the hartmann mhdfoam problem, where it originally defined a velocity vector of (1 0 0) at the inlet of a simple two dimensional conduit with the following properties of nu,mu,rho and sigma all equal to 1 and normally this solver works. However when i change the transport properties it ain't giving me any results and multiple errors in convergence. For example when i tried to enter the properties of sodium of rho=830 nu=0.0002 mu=12.56e-07 and sigma=3.6e06 it just stops after a couple of iterations. And when i try to decrease the velocity so that the flow is laminar, and also improve the quality of the mesh and reduce the time step, it still solves it in a couple iterations then stops without converging and giving me illogical outputs. If someone can explain or define the mhdfoam solver and tell me what should i do i would be very grateful!
