Default Error when converging when Mesh is slightly changes

I am simulating a laminar flow at Re=1e6 with free stream velocity ~0.1, water kinematic viscosity 0.984e-6 and length of wall 10m. This is the simulated flow:

I have a very simple Mesh at the moment as shown here:

And if I increase any of the Mesh values by any amount the simulation no longer converges and I have no idea why this occurs.

This is my controlDict:


I have a U=[0.984 0 0] boundary condition at the inlet and a pressure =0 at outlet.
If anyone has any idea why it might not be converging any advice would be useful!
