I am simulating a laminar flow at Re=1e6 with free stream velocity ~0.1, water kinematic viscosity 0.984e-6 and length of wall 10m. This is the simulated flow:
I have a very simple Mesh at the moment as shown here: And if I increase any of the Mesh values by any amount the simulation no longer converges and I have no idea why this occurs. This is my controlDict: I have a U=[0.984 0 0] boundary condition at the inlet and a pressure =0 at outlet. If anyone has any idea why it might not be converging any advice would be useful! |
