I am currently using a flamelet/progress variable (FPV) solver based on reactingFoam to solve non-premixed turbulent flames. Previously, I was able to ignite and sustain a jet flame by introducing progress variable, C, into the simulation from the pilot flame surrounding the main jet nozzle. This was quite straightforward since the pilot flames were always burning.
Right now, I am simulating another jet flame with no pilot flames. I tried to ignite the fuel by setting an ignition region by using C to ignite the flame at the first initial 0.01s of the simulation. I could see that the fuel was ignited but it was extinguished as soon as the ignition was off. Has anybody get this error before? |

Hello,
I am sorry, I do not have any answer for your query. However, I am gonna implement FPVFoam in my project. So, if you do not mind I have few queries related to solver compiling. Best Regards, |
