Hello OF,
I want to solve a cyclic pipe for a long time and save flow data over a surface inside the pipe and then later use the written data as a boundary of a pipe that flows into a larger cubic domain. I know how to do pipe flow simulation, and I look for a way to use saved data as an inlet. The reason for this is that I want to have temporal and spatial fluctuation of flow to be included. I am also familiar with mapped boundary conditions to use for fully developed flow... (does not work for my simulation) Any help is appreciated. M |

You can read and write openfoam fields and BCs with this python package (https://github.com/jvwilliams23/openfoamparser).
