total pressure keeps increasing with wrong pressure drop

Hello,
I am trying to run an internal flow simulation with hot air. In order to check if the model is ok, I compare the theorical pressure drop of a 90 degrees elbow to the value obtained in the simulation. I was expecting a value closer to 20 Pa but I am getting something around 400 Pa. I think that it might be a problem with my turbulence setup because when running with wallfunctions in either w or nut the solution diverges. Can someone help me with the setup, please? I did compare it with tutorials and other threads but I can't see what I am doing wrong. After a while, pressure drop stabilizes but total pressure keeps increasing and in some cases it diverges. Why is this happening? Also, I was not expecting negative values for total pressure. How is it possible? |
