Hama04 is on a distinguished road
Hello Foamers,

I am working on simulating the gas behavior in the molten lead in the nuclear reactor.
Even though interFoam works with incompressible fluids, I am familiar that they have implemented a compression flux to deal with the expansion of the possible gasses. This compression flux is defined through relative velocity Ur = min(C_alpha phi/Sf, max(phi/Sf)).

In the OpenFOAM v10, in alphaEqn.H, no explicit equation describes this flux. I was checking src code, but since I am unfamiliar with C++ (I understand the basics), I need help understanding it.

I would appreciate it if someone could shine a light on this issue.

Kind regards
